How’s everybody doing? I have been creating daily art goals for myself and it has been helping me stay busy and happy! Today I set up a flower vase, a pear (kind of bruised!) and a scarf on my desk. I drew a sketch of the scene and now I am going to finish it with colored pencil.
I better hurry because the pear is about to go bad! What kinds of activities have you been doing?? love, Mrs. Alseri

Hi wonderful Bach students! I just added a few AMAZING works of art to the gallery page on this site. I am so grateful for the creativity in all of my art students. I am currently working on my colored pencil skills and practicing how to draw clothing and fabric. Maybe I'll post it here when I am finished.
It feels good to create, doesn't it? Look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Mrs. A Does the thought of having stuff stuck in your fingernails keep you from breaking out the play dough? Do you always reach for a black Sharpie when drawing and refuse to use anything else? Art is about testing your own limits. If you're afraid of using watercolor paints because you might make a mistake, do it anyway! You learn from making mistakes and it's the only way to get better at making art. How would you know that you need to practice drawing noses if you've never done it before?
Hey there! Home can be a hard place for artists to find inspiration. An every day object is something you can find around the house. When that "I don't know what to draw" thought pops into your head, find an interesting object. Set it on a table or sit next to it with some paper. A toothbrush, candle, your favorite toy, a school supply- those are all things that you can easily find and practice your drawing skills on. The more you practice, the better you get. Add some color to it, if you'd like!
